Item description

Deliverable is constructed with the inputs from:

• The scientific report of the Short Term Scientific Mission titled “The role of hydropower in the EU energy transition” completed by Marija Lazarevikj (Ss. Cyril and Methodius" University in Skopje, North Macedonia).

• Country presentations on the hydropower status, development opportunities, policy measures and main barriers and enablers for hydropower development during the Workgroup 4 meetings.

Item description

Press release was launched in Month 1 at project launch on the PEN@Hydropower website as well as on social media, whilst an additional press release was distributed with the support of COST Association in July of 2023.

Two social media platforms were launched in the first months of PEN@Hydropower: a LinkedIn page, used as the main platform to target a professional and academic audience, and a Twitter page used to network and promote activities with other EU initiatives. A YouTube page was also created as an online repository for all PEN@Hydropower videos.
